 Writing your test plan
Testing your mobile application is an extremely important process as it can prevent your app from being approved into app stores. After you lay out your specifications for your app you can make a separate list for your developer to check when the app is developed.

Think of every possible scenario: In an input calls for a number, try entering a text answer instead. If you need a number between 1-7 try entering an 8. These are all possible bugs that should be found and corrected before your app is released. Never assume that users will automatically do the right thing every time. Whether its intentional or not, they may enter information that the field can't accept and you need to know that your app can handle the error without crashing.

Test for all levels of data, even missing data: What happens if a user is looking for something that isn't in the database? Make sure that the correct error message appears.

Try to make your application "crash": Use it rough and in every way possible. If you can find a way for it to crash then you can definitely assume your users will too.

As a certified software tester, I would suggest to get a truly stable app which stands up to 'users' you really need to add a dedicated tester to your team, as many bugs get missed when developers test their own code.
